Kenneth Brusca Appointed President
of Volvo Cars of Canada Ltd.

ROCKLEIGH, NJ Kenneth Brusca has been appointed president of Volvo Cars of Canada Ltd. effective July 1, 1999. Mr. Brusca replaces Gord Sonnenberg, who held the position since October 1, 1997. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Brusca was Vice President of Volvo Cars of North America's Central Region, where he helped the company achieve record results in sales, retailer profitability, and customer and retailer satisfaction. Since joining Volvo in 1992, Mr. Brusca has held a number of increasingly responsible regional sales positions. In addition, he was project manager for the Volvo Enterprise Network, bringing new technology and applications to more than 400 Volvo retailers across the US. In October, 1997, he was appointed VCNA's vice president of marketing. Before joining Volvo, Mr. Brusca spent nine years with Ford Motor Company, working in information systems, marketing, training, sales, parts and service. Mr. Brusca replaces Gord Sonnenberg, who left the company to pursue other interests in the retail sector. A native of the US, Mr. Brusca was born in Long Island, N.Y. and graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in economics. He is married, with three sons.
