Microphonics and Delco Remy Continue Indy Car Effort

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Microphonics (OTC Bulletin Board: MRPS) today announced it 
will once again team up with Delco Remy International to sponsor 
the #35 Delco Remy-Microphonics-Thermo Tech ISM Racing G Force/Aurora/Goodyear entry 
driven by Steve Knapp in the Longhorn 500 presented by MCI World Com at the Texas Motor
Speedway. Knapp, who qualified at 24.891 sec with a speed of 210.438 mph and will start 
17th, commented: (About the Indianapolis 500)  "Everyone on the Delco Remy International-
Microphonics-Prolong ISM Racing team tried very hard for that great race.  I would 
have liked to run all day, but we learned a lot and we'll come back strong for Texas."

    Jimmy Gayle, Microphonics CEO, commented "Our association with Delco Remy International 
through our automotive and racing effort has become a fruitful one for Microphonics. 
Recently, we finalized an agreement with Delco Remy for purchase of our 
Model 111RCK Ultraphonic Detectors for use in their enhanced setup diagnostics and testing.
