Infiniti Introduces New Ad Campaign

11 June 1999

GARDENA, Calif., June 11 -- Tom Orbe, vice president and
general manager, Infiniti Division, today announced the launch of a new
nationwide advertising campaign beginning June 14. The ad campaign will keep
the "OWN ONE AND YOU'LL UNDERSTAND(TM)" tagline, however, it will have a new
uniform look and feel across the Infiniti vehicle line-up.

The new ad campaign has been specifically designed to enhance the prestige
of Infiniti. The new advertising highlights specific product features that
are representative of Infiniti's advanced and innovative thinking. All the
ads will have the same contemporary style that is clean, graphic and
sophisticated.

The debut of the new ad campaign features the QX4 "Monoframe" and Q45
"Flower" spots. The QX4 spot is a very compelling illustration of how the
monoframe construction results in a very solid, smooth and safer ride. On the
other hand, the Q45 spot shows how technologically advanced the Infiniti
flagship is by highlighting the new Xenon headlights.

The new ad campaign is just one of the many marketing initiatives that the
division has planned for this year to help build awareness, drive showroom
traffic and set the stage for the launch of the all-new I30. The other
initiatives include internet activity enhancements, an I30 customer retention
program and other targeted regional marketing activities. The ad campaign
will include television, print, outdoor and interactive advertising.
Advertising has been created by Infiniti's agency, TBWA/Chiat/Day, based in
Playa del Rey, Calif.

Infiniti is supported by a network of more than 145 retailers.
