YPSILANTI, MI - Motion Concept Vehicles Inc. (MCV) of Toronto, Ontario is excited about demonstrating their prototype mid-engine, carbon-fibre chassis NGV ``SuperCar'' at the EnV'99 Ride and Drive. In addition, the company will be showing their hydrogen fueled, 5kw IC generator at booth No. 125. The conference is being held at the Ypsilanti Marriot. MCV focuses on the design and development of transportation related alternative fuel devices. The prototype sportscar is powered by a twin-supercharged, natural gas fueled. 4.6 litre V8. Fitted with 16 fuel injectors and a customized electronic injection system, closed loop control and three way catalysts, the engine generates approximately 400 h.p. The entire vehicle has been designed, developed and will be manufactured by MCV. The vehicle will be manufactured on a limited production basis with a total planned production volume of 400 vehicles at a selling price of approximately $200,000. ``Over the next two years it is our intention to begin production and take the ``supercar'' to market as a limited volume, high performance niche vehicle'' says MCV's president, Bob Waddell. MCV will continue to develop alternative fueled vehicles and other technologies with applications for both the automotive and non-automotive industries. A second vehicle is planned for development within four years. The company offers their facilities and expertise to help other companies develop new technologies or analyze and test their own designs and prototypes.
