Bullhide Completes Industrial Contract for Firestone

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--June 10, 1999--The Bullhide Liner Corporation's (OTC BB:BULH) licensed dealer, Polyshield, Inc., located in Des Moines, Iowa, completed a contract for Firestone at the Des Moines, Iowa tire plant using the Bullhide 2000 product.
Bullhide 2000 was sprayed, at the Firestone Des Moines plant, to address an OSHA safety problem involving hooks that transport tires through the plant. As paint wore off the hooks, they were no longer visible creating the potential for injury to the plant workers. Applying safety yellow Bullhide 2000 to the steel hooks eliminated the problem and brought the Firestone plant into compliance with OSHA regulations. Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc. is a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation of Japan, the world's largest tire and rubber company.
Bullhide 2000 was also sprayed on a fleet of trucks owned by a local distributor of MALCO products, an Ohio based company, which distributes and markets branded, private label, chemical specialty products, both domestically and internationally. The application of sunset red Bullhide 2000 provided a non-skid and non-slip surface on portions of the trucks.
According to Mr. Paul Romero, President of Polyshield, "The application of Bullhide 2000 at the Firestone plant and on the Malco distributor's trucks not only demonstrate additional industrial uses, but also Bullhide's ability to resolve certain employee safety (OSHA) issues."
The Bullhide Liner Corporation has a revolutionary patent pending polyurethane-based material initially targeted for the pick-up truck bedliner market. With its superior strength, toughness, anti-skid properties and excellent chemical resistance, Bullhide has expanded into the industrial flooring market. Additionally, when spray molded onto metal, wood, fiberglass or concrete, this product provides: superior protection from corrosion and deterioration; chemical containment; sound dampening; waterproofing; and, equipment protection.
