Johnson Controls Receives Top Honors from Wal-Mart Canada
    MILWAUKEE, June 8 -- Johnson Controls has been awarded the
prestigious "1998 Vendor Partner of the Year" award from Wal-Mart Canada, Inc.
    "Recognizing a manufacturer as 'Vendor Partner of the Year' is a testament
to the quality not only of its products but to the quality of its people as
well," said David Ferguson, President and CEO of Wal-Mart Canada, Inc.
    Ross Thompson, Divisional Merchandise Manager for Wal-Mart Canada, Inc.,
who presented the award, acknowledged that the "Vendor Partner of the Year"
award is based on progress and innovation, coupled with a commitment to
increase market share and grow the business.
