Federal-Mogul Receives Chrysler's Gold Pentastar Award
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 7 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation's
Powertrain Systems facility in Blacksburg, Virginia, has received
the Chrysler Gold Pentastar Award for 1998.
    The Gold Pentastar Award recognizes world-class performance in quality,
delivery and warranty.  This marks the second-consecutive year Federal-Mogul
Blacksburg has received the honor.

    The Federal-Mogul manufacturing location supplies engine bearings for a
variety of Chrysler products, including its 3.8L, 3.9L, 4.7L, and 5.2L
engines.
