American Electric Automobile Company Announces Delivery of New Vehicle
SAN DIEGO--June 3, 1999--American Electric Automobile Co. Inc. (OTCBB:AEAM) announced today that the company has delivered a new, electrically-powered Dodge Caravan to a customer in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.The seven-seat van is capable of freeway speeds in excess of 70 miles an hour when fully loaded. The van is designed with an energy controller incorporating a microprocessor that allows for extremely efficient use of electrical energy.
American Electric Automobile Co. Inc. has been a developer and converter of electric automobiles since 1988. The cCompany has operations in San Diego and Guanzhou, China. One of the company's models, an SUV, was manufactured in China and is currently being tested at the China Electric Automobile Test Facility in Shantou, China. Once the tests are completed satisfactorily, the company plans to import and market the vehicle in the United States.
