Federal-Mogul Announces New Original Equipment Sales And Marketing Structure, Lighting Products
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 4 -- William Buchman, vice president,
sales and marketing, Lighting Products, Federal-Mogul Corporation
announces the following organizational structure and appointments effective
immediately for the Lighting Products organization:

    *  Jerry Anway, director of sales, DaimlerChrysler team
    *  Ruth Boychuk, supervisor, sales administration
    *  Sandy Schafer, sales associate
    *  Rick Splant, director of sales, GM, Ford and international team
    *  Guy Vachon, director of marketing and business planning
    *  To Be Announced, director of sales, heavy-duty truck team

    "A team approach focused along customer lines has been developed to most
effectively service our customers and grow the lighting business," said
Buchman.  "The sales and marketing resources of the former Blazer
International, Signal-Stat, Wagner Lighting and Zanxx products organizations
will be combined to provide synergy and customer focus to react quickly to the
demands of the marketplace."

    Jerry Anway, Director of Sales, DaimlerChrysler Team
    Jerry Anway has been appointed director of sales, DaimlerChrysler team.
    Anway will have responsibility for the sales and program management group
for the DaimlerChrysler Corporation.  In addition, he will be responsible for
the sales administration and customer service group for all customers.
Prior to this appointment, Anway held the position of program manager from
July 1995 to March 1997, and manager, program management, from March 1997 to
January 1999 for the newly acquired Cooper Automotive Company.
    Anway earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Oakland
University, Rochester, Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science degree in
electrical engineering from Michigan State University.

    Ruth Boychuk, Supervisor, Sales Administration
    Ruth Boychuk has been appointed supervisor, sales administration.
    Reporting to Anway, Boychuk will have responsibility for the original
equipment sales administration group.  Boychuk joined the company in February
1991 as a customer service representative.  In August 1997, she was promoted
to manage the original equipment customer service staff.

    Sandy Schafer, Sales Associate
    Sandy Schafer has been appointed sales associate.
    Reporting to Boychuk, Schafer will have responsibility for all GM, Ford
and international team original equipment sales administration and customer
service activity.  Prior to this appointment, Schafer held the position of
customer service representative dealing primarily with products sold under the
Zanxx brand name.  It was in this position that Schafer joined the newly
acquired Cooper Automotive Company in May 1998.
    Schafer earned a Bachelor of business administration degree in management
from Cleary College, Ypsilanti, Michigan.

    Rick Splant, Director of Sales, GM, Ford and International Team
    Rick Splant has been appointed director of sales, GM, Ford and
international team.
    Splant will have responsibility for sales and program management group
with General Motors, Ford and transplant companies.  Prior to this
appointment, Splant headed original equipment sales and marketing, and product
engineering activities for products sold under the Blazer brand name.  Splant
joined Blazer International in 1986, became part of Cooper Automotive in
February 1996, and joined Federal-Mogul in October 1998 via the acquisition of
Cooper Automotive.
    Splant earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from
Lewis University, Romeoville, Illinois.

    Guy Vachon, Director of Marketing and Business Planning
    Guy Vachon has been appointed director of marketing and business planning.
    Vachon will have responsibility for the original equipment marketing and
business planning group.  Vachon joins Federal-Mogul from Meritor Automotive
where he was product manager with responsibility for axle and brake original
equipment business.  Prior to this, Vachon worked with Federal-Mogul
Corporation for 18 years serving in a variety of aftermarket product
management, sales and marketing positions.
    Vachon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing
management from Northwood University, Midland, Michigan.

    Related to these organizational changes, Buchman stated, "The appointment
for Director, Sales, Heavy-Duty Truck Market, will be named at a later date."
