What to Watch: 1998 Champion Dyson Racing looks to get back on track at Mid-Ohio after losing last weeks Lime Rock contest in the last two minutes. After a strong run at Lime Rock, including 21 laps led, Scott Schubot and Henry Camferdam look for a career-best finish at Mid-Ohio in Can-Am. The duo drove the No. 8 Support Net Riley & Scott Ford to a third at Lime Rock despite significant body damage. Dublin resident Jon Field will turn the Lola Can-Am chassis first laps at Mid-Ohio in the No. 28 Banana Joes Lola Ford. If Lime Rock is any indication of the cars potential, look for Field and co-driver Ryan Jones to be at the front. Field was part of a fierce four-car battle for the lead in the first 45 minutes at Lime Rock. Last year, Fields Intersport team campaigned a Riley & Scott. Toledo resident Tom Volk makes his home track debut with his No. 95 Supreme Exhaust Systems Riley & Scott Chevrolet. Last year, Volk campaigned a Kudzu. Teammate Jeret Schroeder comes off his rookie run at the Indy 500. Robinson Racing, initially set to debut a twin-turbo derivative of the CART Cosworth motor, returns with Chevrolet power in its No. 74 Hunting Ranch Riley & Scott Ford. Cincinnati, Ohios Larry Schumacher looks for his second win at Mid-Ohio in GT2. Last year, he and Andy Pilgrim teamed for the win. This year, fellow Cincinnatian John OSteen shares the driving duties. The duo will have their hands full with the new Mosler Intruder of Loic Depailler, son of the late F1 star Patrick Depailler, Stephane Roy and Joao Barbosa, who re-wrote the Lime Rock lap record book last weekend. Porsche will again battle BMW in GT3, with this weekends top BMW M3 entry coming from Aspen Knolls Racing and top Porsches from the Reiser/Callas Rennsport and G&W Motorsports. At Lime Rock last week, Shane Lewis drove the Aspen Knolls entry to a fourth behind three factory BMWs despite leading much of the race in the No. 51 entry.
