Johnson, a 31-year-old native of Ottuma, Iowa, is one of the most popular and rising star competitors in drag racing today. Johnson's career achievements include: two world records in 1994, eight national event wins, and fifteen final round appearances. In 1998, he ranked number 2 in IHRA points standings and is the only driver to ever hold the NHRA and IHRA speed records at the same time. AlliedSignal has also announced that a new motorsports advertising campaign for FRAM SureGRIP that includes both television and print media and features the ever-popular and legendary Funny Car Champion John Force will debut during the FRAM Route 66 Nationals.
