A. Schulman Appoints Kathleen Pramik as Director of Information Technology - CIO of North America
AKRON, Ohio--June 2, 1999--A. Schulman Inc. announced today that Kathleen A. Pramik has joined the company in the newly created position of Director of Information Technology-Chief Information Officer for North America.Pramik is responsible for setting policy, strategy and standards for the organization's information processing and technology function. She will oversee the implementation and coordination of the company's new state-of-the-art Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This technology provides A. Schulman with enterprise-wide integrated business processes designed to optimize customer service and operational efficiencies.

Pramik will provide leadership on information technology, business process re-engineering, change management initiatives, and the development of an IT strategic plan aligned with business strategies.
Before joining A. Schulman, Pramik worked at the Geon Company in Avon Lake, Ohio, for 3 1/2 years, most recently as senior manager of application systems and project director for the systems integration of new business units. Prior to that, she held IT positions at Moen Incorporated in North Olmsted, Ohio; Andersen Consulting in Cleveland; and Xerox Corporation in Cleveland.
Pramik, a native of Barberton, Ohio, holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, where she was enrolled in the Honors College and received an Honors Scholarship. Pramik lives with her husband, Stephen, in Hinckley, Ohio.
