Invensys to List Shares in the US

LONDON--June 2, 1999--Invensys plc, the automation and controls company created from the merger of Siebe plc and BTR plc, today announced that it intends to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange.
Lord Marshall, Chairman of Invensys plc said: "Over 35% of our shares are now owned or managed in North America. Currently 48% of our revenue is from that region and 47% of our employees work there. In recognition of the importance of this marketplace, and to give Invensys increased financial flexibility and visibility, a listing on the New York Stock Exchange at the earliest practical date is a logical move."
