Formula 1 Technology Built Into C5 Corvette
by SACHS North America

Westlake, OH -- For more than half a century, SACHS has developed racing
components for all forms of motorsports. The experience and technology
gained from participation on racetracks worldwide is utilized in all
SACHS suspension products for OE manufacturers and aftermarket
replacement.

With this kind of reputation, it's no surprise that the Chevrolet
Division of General Motors relied on SACHS to develop the shock absorber
system for it's innovative and exciting new C5 Corvette. The same SACHS
technology used in shock absorbers for the Ferrari F1, McLaren F1,
leading European Touring Car and International Rally teams, is
incorporated into the shock absorbers of the new Corvette.

SACHS offers shock absorbers and struts for over 1700 different
vehicles, and Sporting Sets (spring/shock sets) for some seventy (70)
popular passenger and performance car applications.
