Fairchild Semiconductor Appoints Kyoung Soo Kim as Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing
SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine--May 25, 1999--Industry veteran to head South Korean sales and marketing team
Fairchild Semiconductor today announced the appointment of Kyoung Soo Kim as regional vice president to lead the company's sales and marketing organization in South Korea. The company called the appointment of the veteran sales manager key to the successful promotion of its multi-market business lines. Kim will be responsible for all aspects of Fairchild's sales and marketing organization in South Korea. (See related news release of May 25, 1999)

Prior to joining Fairchild in April, 1999, Kim was executive director of sales and marketing for Samsung's power device business. Kim was employed at Samsung in various engineering and sales capacities since 1976. He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Pusan University and earned an MBA from Yonsei University.
