Feuling Gets Fourth Three-Valve Cylinder PatentVENTURA, Calif., May 25 -- Feuling Advanced Technologies announced the award of their fourth U.S. patent for their improved three-valve cylinder head design. Jim Feuling, president and founder of Feuling Advanced Technologies and Feuling R & D, developed cutting edge technology that optimizes the multi-valve cylinder head design. Improvements include reduced emissions, increased thermal and volumetric efficiency and the ability to run a higher compression ratio on pump gas for added fuel economy and power. "Three-valve technology is the wave of the future," according to Jim Feuling. "Our new technology delivers major improvements in fuel economy and emissions over comparative four- and five-valve cylinder head designs currently being used in the automotive industry." Hot Rod magazine spotlights this design in their June '99 issue. Feuling's new patent joins those already issued for the "Max Flow" valve, "High Velocity" intake and exhaust port design and "Centerfire" two-valve combustion chamber. These features combined allow "...the use of unleaded fuels with a higher octane tolerance than ever thought possible." February '99 and March '99 articles in Hot Rod magazine along with November '98 Popular Hot Rodding cover and feature article have highlighted this revolutionary new design. Jim Feuling has been an automotive industry pioneer for more than 25 years. He has developed products for O.E. manufacturers like Ford Motor Company, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Harley-Davidson, as well as automotive aftermarket manufacturers like Edelbrock, Bell Helmets, Cyclone/Blackjack headers and Mr. Gasket. Additional accomplishments include four new land speed records as the "World's fastest motorcycle" setting two AMA and two LSAA land speed records @ 332.103 miles per hour at the Bonneville Salt Flats, recently documented on TLC/Discovery channel's "A Need for Speed."
