Federal-Mogul Produces One Millionth Connecting Rod for Saturn CorporationSOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 25 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation's Windsor, Ontario, Canada, facility recently celebrated the production of its one millionth connecting rod for Saturn Corporation of Spring Hill, Tennessee. The facility began machining connecting rods for use in Saturn's SL and SC vehicles in June 1998, as part of a six-year agreement with Saturn. The Windsor team produced the one-millionth connecting rod in less than a year's time. "We congratulate the Windsor team on this significant accomplishment," said Alan C. Federal-Mogul Windsor has over 200 employees and machines connecting rods and cylinder heads for major automotive customers. The Windsor facility manufactures machines and machining systems.
