Visteon Electronic Systems Division Selects National Instruments Software as Standard Framework for Automated Production Test SystemsProduction Test Software Helps Visteon Automotive Systems Increase Production, Improve Time-to-Market, and Reduce Development and Maintenance Costs AUSTIN, Texas, May 25 -- National Instruments today announced a contract with Visteon to provide the automotive systems supplier with test development and test management software for its manufacturing facilities in the United States, Canada, South America, and Europe. Visteon, in seeking a standard software platform for the production line test of automotive electronic components, selected National Instruments TestStand(TM) and LabWindows(TM)/CVI for the benefits they bring to the manufacturing floor, including increased production, improved time-to-market, and reduced development and maintenance costs. The financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
