Findlay Industries to Sponsor 2nd Annual Automotive & Transportation Interiors Scholarship Golf ClassicDETROIT, May 24 -- Findlay Industries will be the title sponsor of the 2nd Annual Automotive & Transportation Interiors Scholarship Golf Classic being held in conjunction with the Automotive & Transportation Interiors Expo and Conference at Cobo Center June 8-10. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated in the form of scholarships to outstanding students in automotive design programs at this year's three designated scholarship schools -- Central Michigan University, Cleveland Institute of Art and Miami University of Ohio. The tournament, Monday, June 7, will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start at Tanglewood Golf Club in South Lyon, Mich., followed by a 2:30 p.m. awards ceremony. Findlay Industries was the inaugural sponsor of the Golf Classic last year, and the company has been a long-time supporter of the Automotive & Transportation Interiors Scholarship Awards Banquet. It also supports interior design projects at Detroit's Center for Creative Studies.
