Valeo to Transmit Its General Meeting of Shareholders Live on the InternetPARIS, May 20 -- Valeo's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, to be held at the Palais des Congres in Paris on May 25 at 4 p.m., will be transmitted live and interactively on the Group's Web site: http://www.valeo.com . During the transmission, Web surfers will be able to listen to the presentations of Noel Goutard, Chairman and CEO of the Valeo Group, and the other speakers, while following the visual aids on screen. They will also be able to address questions to the Chairman. Valeo shareholders participating in the Web conference cannot exercise their voting rights on-line, however, but may, in accordance with the applicable regulations, vote by mail (following the usual procedures) or by proxy. The transmission of sound and video images on the Internet is based on "Real Video," a frequently used technology on this network. Valeo recommends that all Web surfers who do not have the "RealPlayer" program download it from the Valeo Web site, free of charge, before the May 25 General Meeting. Valeo has also opened a Web-based "hotline" to answer any technical questions. In order to participate in the meeting via the Internet, Web surfers must sign up beforehand. This can be done as of today on the Valeo Web site, where full details of the operation are provided.
