Ricardo, Inc. Completes Their First Year Under the Leadership of Jeremy HoltDETROIT, May 20 -- On April 15, 1999, Ricardo, Inc. completed their first year with President Jeremy Holt. The company is firmly poised in the industry for their next fiscal year and the millennium. As part of a complete corporate strategy, Ricardo, Inc. provides an intimate link between North American and European business. Within the past year Ricardo, Inc. has grown its capabilities in Powertrain and Vehicle engineering by stimulating growth in Controls and Calibration activities. The Vehicle Calibration department is currently involved in numerous programs that include extreme climate testing, emission development and driveability evaluation. In one current project involving Powertrain Controls the department is implementing advanced control and estimation algorithms for an important new diesel engine. Some of Holt's goals for the near future include growth in Ricardo, Inc.'s vehicle engineering capabilities and applying their strengths in the area of complete powertrain programs. Ricardo, Inc. is also looking forward to releasing new products to add to their successful line of proprietary software in Fluid and Mechanical Simulation developed to support the automotive industry. Additionally, Holt and the management team at Ricardo, Inc. are currently exploring the expansion of their Detroit Technical Center in Belleville, Michigan.
