Utah Clay Technology Inc. (OTC BB:UTCL), the company announced Thursday the hiring of D.B. Becker Co. Inc. of Clinton, N.J. as a distributor of its kaolin products according to Dennis S. Engh, its president.
D.B. Becker Co. Inc. is a chemical distributor and a member of NACD, founded in 1954, that has served the chemical industry for over 45 years. The sales area that their representatives will be covering consists of the New England states, New York, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
Engh stated, "That with this expansion into the east coast through D.B. Becker Co. Inc. coupled with our Company's other four distributors, Hahn Northwest (covering the Pacific Northwest market, including Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, B.C., Idaho and Montana), TCR Industries (who covers markets in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Denver), J.M. Gillen Company (handling markets in Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia), and G.R. O'Shea Company (for the midwestern markets, including Chicago and Detroit) gives our company representation in approximately 80 percent of the marketplace."
Utah Clay Technology Inc. has developed special processing technology to produce high quality kaolin pigments at reduced prices.
The company's operations are located in southern Utah where it mines, processes and distributes its kaolin products through chemical distributors to their industrial customers in the paint, plastic, ceramics, polishes, inks, adhesives, rubber, fiber glass, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industries.
