  Forrester Research Describes Autoweb.com as the 'Most Significant Player'

    SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 20 -- Autoweb.com, Inc.

announced a dramatic increase in its affiliate website program. Autoweb.com
reports a record 4200 affiliate sites, an 800% increase since June 1998. In a
recent Iautonews report that proclaims 1999 as the "Year of the Affiliate,"
Forrester Research analyst James McQuivey describes Autoweb.com as "the most
significant player" in the online automotive affiliate sector.
