Reg Technologies' Rand Cam(TM) Transmission Pump Production Packaging Model Underway
    DETROIT, May 19 -- Reg Technologies, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: REGRF; Vancouver: RRE) and its US subsidiary REGI U.S.,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: RGUS) announced today that the Company is proceeding
to build and test the Rand Cam(TM) pump in high volume transmission
applications.
    The design of the new pump application is currently underway by Paul
LaMarche, REGI's engineer in Detroit, Mich. and will proceed with a production
packaging evaluation in the rear wheel drive transmission.
    The evaluation will include the following:

    *  Demonstrate packagability
    *  Enable functional testing at the Automatic Transmission New Product
       Center in Livonia
    *  Enable in vehicle evaluation
    *  Check functionality given packaging constraints
    *  Ease cost comparison
    *  Ease manufacturing evaluation

    The first Rand Cam(TM) pump is currently being tested in Detroit.  The
automotive testing facilities, which are dedicated to pre-production
development programs, will complete the testing on the new pump.  The testing
will include in lab testing as well as vehicle on the road evaluation.

    ABOUT REG TECHNOLOGIES, INC./REGI U.S., INC.
    Reg Technologies, Inc./REGI US, Inc. have been testing and developing
numerous Rand Cam(TM) applications over several years such as diesel engine,
compressor and pump applications.  The Company is currently testing and
modifying our 125 HP diesel engine with Global Aircraft Corporation as part of
a NASA contract.  The Company is completing a production model compressor for
Trans Air Manufacturing for air-conditioning in bus applications.  Reg
Technologies, Inc./REGI US, Inc. are also negotiating an agreement for other
compressor applications for air-conditioning with a potential large end user.
    The Rand Cam(TM) patented technology is a rotary vane design with only the
vanes and rotor as the moving parts resulting in a compact and very quiet
running unit.
