Carey International Subsidiary Receives Florida Governor's Sterling Award
    WASHINGTON, May 19 -- Carey International, Inc.
today announced that East Coast Transportation, Inc.,  a
recently acquired subsidiary of Carey International in Jacksonville, Florida,
has earned the distinction of being the first chauffeured transportation
company to receive the Florida Governor's Sterling Award.
    The Sterling Award recognizes companies that demonstrate an uncompromising
commitment to quality and excellence based on principle-centered  leadership,
employee involvement, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
