Borg-Warner Automotive Reclassifies 1998 Quarters by Operating GroupCHICAGO, May 18 -- Borg-Warner Automotive, Inc. today re-released 1998 quarterly sales to reflect the format in which the company is reporting its 1999 operating group sales. The sales of the turbocharger business of A.G. Kuhnle, Kopp and Kausch are included with Morse TEC, and certain amounts have been reclassified from Automatic Transmission Systems to divested operations. The revised numbers are attached. Chicago-based Borg-Warner Automotive, Inc. is a product leader in highly engineered components and systems for vehicle powertrain applications worldwide. The company operates 54 manufacturing and technical facilities in 13 countries. Customers include Ford, DaimlerChrysler, General Motors, Toyota, Caterpillar, Navistar and VW.
