Motorcar Parts & Accessories, Inc. Announces New CFO

    TORRANCE, Calif., May 18 -- Motorcar Parts & Accessories,
Inc. , today announced that David Chaimowitz, 42 years old, has
been named chief financial officer.  Mr. Chaimowitz was previously chief
financial officer of Nellson Nutraceutical, Inc., a contract manufacturer in
the food and nutritional industry.  He has held other senior financial
positions in private and public companies.  Mr. Chaimowitz is a Certified
Public Accountant and prior to his industry experience started his career in
public accounting with Deloitte & Touche.
    Motorcar Parts & Accessories, Inc. is a leading remanufacturer and
distributor of replacement alternators and starters for both imported and
domestic cars and light trucks.
