Devon Hill BMW Hosts `The Ultimate Drive' for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
Test Drive a BMW and Devon Hill Will Donate $1 to
The Komen Foundation for Each Mile Driven

DEVON, Pa., May 13 -- Devon Hill BMW invites the general
public to test drive a BMW for The Ultimate Drive -- its third annual event
for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. For every mile driven, Devon
Hill will donate one dollar to The Komen Foundation, on the test driver's
behalf, and BMW North America will match that dollar. The Ultimate Drive puts
the community in the driver's seat to fight breast cancer and will be held on
Thursday, May 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Devon Hill BMW which is
located at 20 West Lancaster Avenue in Devon.
A fleet of 18 brand new, specially-detailed silver BMWs will be available
for test drivers to choose from. Models include a 2000 7 series, and many of
the current 3 or 5 Series cars. The goal of the program is to donate
$1,000,000 to the Foundation.
Each dealership that participates in The Ultimate Drive also selects a
local Hero to honor for his or her outstanding efforts against breast cancer.
Devon Hill BMW has chosen Kate MacKenzie, a woman who has devoted herself to
the development and management of Mammography of Delaware, a program that
provides mobile mammography services to thousands of women annually in
Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. MacKenzie also makes
mammography services available to under-served and at-risk populations. She
is chair of Delaware's Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program's
Community and Medical Advisory committees. The award ceremony honoring
MacKenzie will be held at 1:00 p.m.
MacKenzie's photograph will be affixed to a BMW signature car, which will
be on display throughout the day, to be signed by all participating test
drivers. The Heroes car then becomes a moving symbol of the program's goals
by showcasing the real people who are making a difference in The Ultimate
Drive against breast cancer.
Refreshments will be served throughout the day.
Test drivers are asked to schedule their test drive by calling
1-877-4-A-DRIVE, or they can register for The Ultimate Drive on the Internet
by accessing: http://bmwusa.com.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation was established in 1982 by
Nancy Brinker to honor the memory of her sister, Susan G. Komen, who died from
breast cancer at the age of 36. The Foundation is a national organization
with a network of volunteers working to eradicate breast cancer as a
life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and
treatment. The Foundation is the nation's largest private funder of research
dedicated solely to breast cancer.
Devon Hill BMW has participated in The Ultimate Drive since the event was
launched nationally by The Komen Foundation and BMW North America three years
ago.
