Dana's Perfect Circle Division Receives Toyota's Certificates of Achievement for Quality and DeliveryRICHMOND, Ind., May 13 -- Dana Corporation's Perfect Circle Division has been awarded two certificates of achievement from Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America (TMMNA). Perfect Circle was honored for providing Toyota with the highest standards in both quality and delivery. Perfect Circle was recognized for achieving a defect rate of only six parts per million (PPM) versus the TMMNA target of 15 PPM, while also maintaining 100 percent on-time delivery. Perfect Circle supplies cylinder liners for Toyota's Camry, Avalon, Solara, and Sienna minivan engines. "The Toyota liner project has been successful since its inception less than two years ago," said Tom Neusiis, vice president and general manager of Perfect Circle. "Our Richmond liner facility has achieved this honor as a result of exceptional teamwork with Toyota. While we are pleased with our 1998 performance, we expect continuous improvement in 1999."
