Delphi Invests $3 Million in Facilities and Equipment for Milwaukee PlantFLINT, Mich., May 12 -- Delphi Automotive Systems is investing nearly $3 million in its Milwaukee, Wis., facility, according to Donald L. Runkle, president of Delphi Energy & Engine Management Systems. Delphi will invest $1.8 million for equipment for facilities, tools and operations expenditures for producing catalytic converters for a future truck program. Also in Milwaukee, $1 million will be invested for facilities, tools and operations investment to fabricate two different types of catalytic converter shells, a product manufactured at Milwaukee. "This investment in our facilities and equipment will allow us to better grow the business and improve our competitiveness," Runkle said. "It is essential that we continue to dedicate capital to projects that will give Delphi Energy a technological edge heading into the next century. Investing in our facilities, equipment and processes will accomplish this."
