Bullhide Liner is Awarded Industrial Flooring Contracts At Stadium

12 May 1999

The Bullhide Liner Corporation, Through Its Florida Distributor, is Awarded Industrial Flooring Contracts At Major League Baseball / NFL Stadium in Florida

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--May 12, 1999--The Bullhide Liner Corporation's (OTC BB:BULH) master distributor, PolySolutions, Inc., located in Deerfield Beach, Florida, has begun spraying its Bullhide 2000 series coating on various areas at a major league baseball / NFL stadium in the state of Florida.
Bullhide 2000 was sprayed in one of the visitor seating areas, to address the problem of water seeping through the concrete floors where the seats are bolted down, and leaking onto the seats in the level below. The same seepage problem exists in the visitors' bullpen area causing flooding in the seating areas above the home team's dugout. This area will be sprayed with Bullhide 2000 later this week.
Additionally, the runway from the home team's locker-room to the field was sprayed with Bullhide 2400. This rubbery tough coating with extreme abrasion and impact resistance, stretchability and anti-slip properties, provides a more durable walking surface for the players, offering some "give" against the players' spiked shoes.
Finally, in the coming weeks, PolySolutions, Inc., will be replacing all of the metal expansion joints throughout the stadium with Bullhide 2000. In many areas, the sealant used to adhere the expansion joints to the seams in the concrete surfaces has corroded, causing the expansion joints to move with the natural expansion and contraction of the concrete. As a result, water has seeped through the concrete seams causing leaking onto the levels below. The elastomeric quality of Bullhide 2000 makes this product an ideal solution as it acts as a flexible sealant that protects against leakage while expanding and contracting with the concrete.
According to Mr. H. Logan Pierson, president of PolySolutions, "The stadium has had increasing problems in many areas with water seepage and leaking, which the highly elastic and highly durable qualities of the Bullhide 2000 series products have readily addressed. The success of these applications reinforces the suitability of Bullhide products for industrial flooring uses."
The Bullhide Liner Corporation has a revolutionary patent pending polyurethane-based material initially targeted for the pick-up truck bedliner market. With its superior strength, toughness, anti-skid properties and excellent chemical resistance, Bullhide has expanded into the industrial flooring market. Additionally, when spray molded onto metal, wood, fiberglass or concrete, this product provides: superior protection from corrosion and deterioration; chemical containment; sound dampening; waterproofing; and, equipment protection.
