Carfax Announces Move of Corporate Headquarters
FAIRFAX, Va., May 11 -- Carfax Vehicle History Service
(Carfax.com) today announced that their corporate headquarters have moved to
Fairfax City. The company, with 90 employees at the Fairfax location, has
quickly become the premier e-commerce company delivering used vehicle
information via the Internet. Their new offices are at 10304 Eaton Place,
Suite 500, near the intersections of Routes 50 and 123.
Carfax has produced record-breaking sales on a weekly basis, has been
honored for their excellence in database services by the Information Industry
Association, and has formed partnerships with other established brands
including Yahoo, AOL, Cars.com and Snap.com.
"We are excited about the move and see it as a positive side effect of our
explosive growth," says Carfax President Dick Raines. "Our new offices have
been designed to meet the needs of our growing workforce and help us to
continue providing a quality product well into the next decade."
Founded in 1984, Carfax pioneered the concept of a used car history
report. Starting with 10,000 vehicle records, consumers running Carfax
reports today have access to over 900 million records. Nationwide, consumers
and businesses -- car dealers, auto auctions and financial institutions -- use
Carfax Vehicle History Reports to make sure they know as much as possible
about the history of a used vehicle before they buy, sell or finance.
