Spatial Technology Inc. Announces IntraVISION 4.0; Full-Featured Viewing Software Enables Enterprise-Wide Access to Over 300 File Formats
BOULDER, Colo.--May 11, 1999--Spatial Technology Inc. (AMEX: STY), the world's leading developer of open, component 3D modeling technology and product data access, exchange, and sharing solutions, today announced IntraVISION(TM) 4.0.This new version of IntraVISION features added support for over 150 file formats, including Microsoft(R) applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, a new user interface, and enhanced performance for STEP assemblies. With this release, Spatial continues its commitment as a customer-driven development organization providing industry-leading 3D modeling and interoperability solutions at a record pace.
IntraVISION is a full-featured, comprehensive viewing solution available as a stand-alone application or an integrated viewing component for PDM, CAD, CAM, ERP, and shop floor solutions. It enables end users to visualize, measure, markup, and convert documents, drawings, 3D CAD/CAM models, assemblies, and part files without requiring the native applications. These features provide key benefits to users in product design and manufacturing by allowing them to collaborate on designs, review models and drawings for dimensional accuracy, and support concurrent product development processes.
Current customers of IntraVISION include Boeing, Bombardier, Caterpillar, Diebold, General Electric, Harley-Davidson Inc., Hitachi, Learjet Inc., Motorola, Northrop Grumman, and Silicon Graphics.
