DelGrosso to Senior Vice President and President -- North American Operations. Both will report to Robert E. Rossiter, Lear President and Chief Operating Officer. He most recently was President -- Asia Pacific Operations. In his new post as President -- North American Operations, DelGrosso will direct Lear's Ford Division, General Motors Division, Chrysler Division and Interior Systems Group. He most recently was President -- Interior Systems Group with the additional responsibility of overseeing Lear's recent acquisition of United Technologies Automotive. Carron joined Lear in 1992 as Program Manager for the company's GM Division, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Sales, Vice President and Vice President of Operations. Carron earned a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University and a masters in business administration from Michigan State University. Carron and his family live in Oberursel, Germany. DelGrosso joined Lear in 1984 as a design engineer and advanced to positions of increasing responsibility, including Group Engineering Manager, Vice President of Operations for the company's GM Division, and President of Lear's Chrysler Division, and President of Lear's GM Division. He was appointed a Senior Vice President of the company on July 1, 1998. DelGrosso earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a masters in business administration from Michigan State University. He also is a member of the board of trustees of Lawrence Technological University of Southfield, Michigan. DelGrosso and his family reside in Troy, Michigan.
