ADP Collision Repair Services Brings New Management Features to Body Shops with Release of Stellix 1.4

SAN RAMON, Calif.--May 10, 1999--ADP Collision Repair Services (CRS), a leading provider of information services for the collision-repair industry, Monday announced the release of Stellix(tm) 1.4, an upgrade version of its 32-bit, multi-user collision-repair-management system.
"Stellix goes beyond traditional `job costing' systems and focuses on total operational productivity," said Anthony Spina, the Stellix product manager for ADP CRS. "As part of that mission, this new release delivers additional tools to help body shops better manage and track the workflow in their facilities."
Stellix provides collision-repair facilities with extraordinary tracking capabilities to improve productivity and efficiency. The system monitors technician production and job costing on screens that closely resemble the ones already used in body-shop offices.
The system's ShopView(tm) feature also provides instant at-a-glance views of the status of multiple and individual repair orders, parts, labor, production and sublet work.
In Stellix 1.4, users are provided a new spreadsheet format for the "Damages Page" that allows them to change tax indicators by individual damage line entry, insert or delete lines, sort by columns, hide columns and even rearrange columns.
In addition, the new release contains enhancements to the "Work Order Report," "Repair Order Invoice" and "WIP (Work in Progress) Report." Other report features have been improved with new sorting options and are as much as 2,400 percent faster.
"We're very pleased with the new features we have been able to bring to Stellix with this upgrade," said Spina. "We continue to talk to our customers about how we can make the system even better and we will issue new versions of Stellix whenever we feel we have created new functionalities that can benefit our users."
Stellix was developed jointly by ADP Collision Repair Services and Akzo Nobel. ADP Collision Repair Services is a strategic business unit of ADP Claims Solutions Group (CSG).
