Carlisle Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

    SYRACUSE, N.Y.--May 5, 1999--The Board of Directors of Carlisle Companies Incorporated declared a regular quarterly dividend of $.16 per share, payable on June 1, 1999 to stockholders of record at the close of business on May 17, 1999.
    Carlisle is a diversified manufacturer of products serving four major markets: construction materials, industrial components, automotive components and general industry.
