Integrated Transportation Opens New Rental Operation in Nanning, Guangxi; The Company Assigns 100 Brand-New AutomobilesNEW YORK, May 5 -- Integrated Transportation Network Group Inc. (Amex: ITR), announced the opening of its newest car rental operation, Guangxi Jinzhenghua Transport Ltd., in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China on March 28, 1999. The new facility is the largest in the city -- with an operating fleet of 100 brand-new automobiles, consisting primarily of Volkswagens(TM). Integrated is renting the vehicles to the corporate-governmental sector under long-term leases and to individuals under short term rentals. Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi, is the region's center of politics, business, culture, and information. It is the center of many of the region's most important organizations and companies. Costs and license fees for owning automobiles remain relatively high in China at present, due to taxes and regulatory structures. Therefore, many organizations choose to lease rather than own their vehicles. Nanning is located near a number of large cities in the southeast region of China, such as Hong Kong, Macao, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. Nanning occupies a central location and enjoys a reputation as a "Green City" due to its picturesque subtropical landscape and year-round warm weather, which attracts large numbers of businesses and leisure travelers. The tourist industry is experiencing a growing demand for rental vehicles. The opening was attended by a number of dignitaries and business figures. Some of the people representing provincial and municipal governments included: Vice-Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Government (Mr. Zhang Wen Hsueh), Vice-Chairman of Guangxi Committee of CPPCC (Mr. Chen Lei Qing), Secretary General of Nanning (Mr. Li Ke), Executive Deputy Mayor of Nanning (Mr. Le Mei Song), Director of Nanning New & High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Mr. Huang Huan Sheng), Secretary General of Beihai, Guangxi (Mr. Chen Wu Sheng), and Mayor of Beihai, Guangxi (Mr. Jin Ren Shou). The opening was also attended by Mr. Nicholas Rockefeller, Managing Partner of the Rockvest Development Company. Wu Zhi Jian, Chairman of Integrated Transportation, stated, "We are pleased with the Nanning opening, especially with the strong support we have received from the provincial and municipal government. Guangxi holds great potential for additional demand from its strong business sector. Our plan involves expanding our leasing business throughout China's 30 provinces. With this initiative, we are taking the necessary steps to capture additional market share within China's emerging car rental market." Integrated Transportation Network Group Inc. maintains executive offices in both New York City and Shenzhen, China, with all operations based in China. The Company's businesses are comprised of three types of transportation services: automobile rental, taxi and automobile repair.
