Infiniti announces April Sales; Division Reports a 4.2 Percent Increase Versus a Year Ago

    CARSON, Calif., May 3 -- Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA),  reported total April sales of 4,029 units,
an increase of 4.2 percent versus the previous year.
    As the volume sales leader, the Infiniti I30 reported sales of 1,671
units.  The G20, Infiniti's luxury sports sedan, posted sales of 990 units.
Total QX4 sales for April were 978. The Q45, Infiniti's flagship luxury
performance sedan, totaled 387 units.
    Nissan North America, Inc. sales for April, including Nissan and Infiniti
Divisions, totaled 47,243 units, an 21.5 percent increase versus last year.
    Infiniti is supported by a network of more than 145 retailers.  For
