O & S America Announces Personnel Appointments
    WHITMORE LAKE, Mich., May 3 -- 0 & S America LLC, a chassis
and steering components minority supplier for the agricultural, military and
heavy industrial equipment vehicle markets, announced the following personnel
appointments, effective May 1, 1999.
    According to President Reginald B. Kelley, "We promoted a number of people
to reflect their additional responsibilities.  These changes will help 0 & S
better address our current and future needs and those of our customers."
    Karen Vorenkamp, a Brighton resident, was named controller.  An 0 & S
employee since 1985, she previously was assistant controller.
    Michael Kime, Saline, was appointed director of quality and new product
development.  He had been director of quality and had joined 0 & S in 1989.
    Thomas Milbocker, Ann Arbor, was chosen plant operations manager.  With
0 & S since 1972, he formerly was plant superintendent.
    James King, a Royal Oak resident, was promoted to director of sales of
agricultural industrial bearings (AIB) from his position as AIB and truck
account manager. He joined 0 & S in 1994.
    Michelle March, Brighton, was appointed senior human resources
administrator after working in the human resources department since 1991.
    Lynda Walker of Howell, who joined 0 & S in 1990, was named senior
customer service representative after serving as a customer service
representative.
    Daniel O'Leary of Ypsilanti, an employee since 1985, was named senior
systems administrator.  He had been a systems administrator.
    Sharon Patterson, Pinckney, was named a customer service representative.
Since joining 0 & S in 1997, she had been a receptionist.
    Carol St. Germain, Brighton, was selected a customer and engineering
services representative.  Since joining the company in 1981, she had been a
secretary.
    0 & S America manufactures tie rod assemblies, torque rods, drag links,
power steering cylinder ends and spherical bearings for original equipment
producers and aftermarkets.
    0 & S America has 134 fulltime employees in an 80,000 square-foot facility
in Whitmore Lake, 10 miles north of Ann Arbor.  United Auto Workers Local 697
represents 94 of the company's employees.
