Simula Inc. to Report Record Revenues in First Quarter
PHOENIX--April 29, 1999--Simula Inc. Thursday said that for its first fiscal quarter ended March 31, 1999, it expects to report record revenues from continuing operations in excess of $30 million.First-quarter net income from continuing operations is expected to be approximately $450,000.
The company will release first-quarter 1999 financial results on Thursday, May 6, 1999.
Donald W. Townsend, president and chief executive officer of Simula, said that both of the company's business segments were profitable during the quarter. The Commercial Transportation Products segment comprises commercial airline seating and automotive safety systems; the Government and Defense segment comprises military aircraft seating, armor and crew safety systems.
