Federal-Mogul Named Advance Auto Parts Vendor of the Year

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 29 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation
has received Advance Auto Parts' 1998 Hard Parts Vendor of the
Year Award.
    Federal-Mogul was honored with this top award in recognition of its
superior fill-rate performance and customer support activities.  Federal-Mogul
