New Bridge Products Inc. Reports Appointment of New President
PHOENIX--April 28, 1999--New Bridge Products Inc. (OTC BB: NBPI) Wednesday announced the appointment of Gary W. Tandy as the company's president and as a member of its board of directors.Tandy replaces Brian J. Kelley as president of the company who recently resigned as a director and president to pursue other business opportunities.
Tandy joins the company after having served since 1994 as the vice president of operations of Florida Crystal Refinery Inc. The division he headed was part of a mega million dollar corporation based in South Bay, Fla.
Prior thereto, Tandy was a part of the core executive team that controlled the operations for General Chemical Company of Green River, Wyo. from 1992 to 1994 and served as production manager of Speckles Sugar Company of Mendota, Calif. from 1987 to 1992. Tandy holds a Masters Degree in Engineering awarded with honors in 1986 from Coventry University, Coventry England.
Jack D. Kelley, the company's chief executive officer and chairman stated, "We are delighted to welcome Mr. Tandy as our new President. His broad experience in operations, engineering and management and his demonstrated track record in manufacturing, maintenance, quality assurance and facilities requirements will be very valuable in leading our company into the new century."
New Bridge Products Inc. is engaged in the designing and remanufacturing of wheelchair accessible mini-vans. The company's product lines incorporate both extended roofs and lowered floor conversions designed to accommodate wheelchair users as drivers or passengers.
