            Company Also Announces New Corporate Tool Design Unit

    HONG KONG, April 27 -- Creative Master International, Inc.
, a leading independent manufacturer of collectible-quality,
die-cast replicas of cars, trucks, buses and other items, today announced two
new senior management appointments and the opening of its new corporate tool
design unit.
    Shahid N. Khan, 41, has been named Vice President of Quality Assurance
(QA), a newly created position that will report to Leo Kwok, the Company's
Chief Operating Officer.  Robinson Rodriguez, 41, an engineer by training, has
been named Vice President of Human Resources, a newly created position that
will report to the Company's Board of Directors.
    "These two talented individuals, who have already demonstrated their
respective capabilities in previous positions, will further strengthen the
Company's quality assurance and human resources functions and support Creative
Master's continued growth and expansion," said Carl Tong, Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of Creative Master International, Inc.  "The appointment of
Messrs. Khan and Rodriguez, who are both multi-cultural and multi-lingual,
further demonstrates that Creative Master is a truly international company,
not only in its customer base, but also in it's management."

    Shahid N. Khan - Vice President, Quality Assurance
    Prior to joining Creative Master, Mr. Khan served from 1996-1999 as a QA
Manager at China-based Yale-Guli Security Products Limited, a joint venture
between UK-based Williams Plc, an internationally recognized manufacturing
company, and China-based Guli Group.  His achievements as QA manager included
implementing a number of QA initiatives that helped the company introduce a
number of new products to market.
    From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Khan served as the QA section head for United
States-based Valor GTI Electronics Inc., Ltd.'s factory in Shenzhen, China.
Mr. Khan's achievements at Valor included developing the company's quality
manual and all operational procedures to support its four Far East facilities'
pursuit of ISO9002 certification.
    Mr. Khan received a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from
the University of Tianjin in China in 1989.  He has a solid knowledge of
ISO9000 and total quality management (TQM) standards and is a senior member of
the American Society of Quality (ASQ).  Mr. Khan is fluent in English,
Mandarin and conversational Cantonese.

    Robinson Rodriguez - Vice President, Human Resources
    Mr. Rodriguez has an extensive 15-year background in human resources and
training & development working with various international companies and a
number of prominent hotels in China, Taiwan and Vietnam.
    Prior to joining Creative Master, he served from 1997 to 1998 as Director
of Personnel Development & Hotel Services for Saudi Medicare Company, a large
health care service company based in Saudi Arabia.  During his tenure at Saudi
Medicare Company, Mr. Rodriguez spearheaded the company's human resources
activities, including computerizing the company's human resources information
systems.
    Mr. Rodriguez graduated from the University of Glamorgan in the United
Kingdom in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and is a member of the American
Management Association in the United States and of the Institute of Personnel
& Development in the United Kingdom.  Mr. Rodriguez is fluent in English and
conversational Mandarin.

    New Corporate Tool Design Unit
    The Company also announced that, as part of its ongoing focus to provide
superior engineering and product development, it has opened a new tool design
unit dedicated to utilizing advanced 3-D tool design programs.  The Company
expects that this new unit will help Creative Master better meet its clients'
needs by shortening product development lead time and enhancing its design of
turnkey projects for clients.
    The first appointee to this new unit is Veerasingam Tevathus who is
experienced in 3-D product and tool design.  He holds a bachelor of
engineering degree, majoring in mechanical engineering and automation, from
the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China.
Mr. Tevathus is fluent in English and Mandarin.
