TransTechnology Declares Dividend of Six and One-Half Cents

    LIBERTY CORNER, N.J.--April 16, 1999--The board of directors of TransTechnology Corp. has declared a regular dividend of $.065 per share payable on June 1, 1999 to shareholders of record on May 14, 1999.
    TransTechnology Corp. is a multi-national manufacturer of specialty fasteners and rescue hoists and cargo hooks. The company employs more than 1775 people at its twelve facilities in the U.S., England, Germany and Brazil.
