Donnelly Corporation Announces Dividend

    HOLLAND, Mich., April 16 -- Donnelly Corporation
announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of
10 cents ($0.10) per share on its Class A Common Stock.  The dividend will be
paid on July 1, 1999 to shareholders of record at the close of business on
June 15, 1999.
