Top Source Receives OSA-II Purchase Order From Cummins Engine Co. Dealer

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.--April 14, 1999--Top Source Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:TPS), announced today that it had received a purchase order from Cummins Great Lakes Inc. ("Cummins Great Lakes") for the purchase of one OSA-II MotorCheck(tm) On-Site Oil Analyzer Unit with an integrated viscometer ("OSA-II").
Cummins Great Lakes is an authorized Cummins distributor for the world's largest manufacturer and designer of high-power diesel engines and related products, the Cummins Engine Company, Inc. These engines provide power for trucking, power generation, bus, industrial, marine and government markets worldwide.
Cummins Great Lakes, the largest Cummins' distributorship in Wisconsin, purchased the OSA-II unit to provide instant and mail-in oil analysis services for 40 smaller Cummins dealerships throughout the Great Lakes area. Cummins Great Lakes is the first Cummins distributorship to purchase an OSA-II unit and now joins other major companies, such as Ford, Chrysler, General Motors, Harley-Davidson, Flying J and Hyundai, among others who are also using OSA technology.
Will Willis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "During the past few months, the testing and usage of Top Source's enhanced OSA-II technology have increased significantly. We are very excited about our relationship with Cummins Great Lakes and the association with Cummins Engine Company. This presents an excellent opportunity for Top Source and the OSA-II unit. In addition to initial sales revenue, Top Source will generate per click and consumables revenue from this placement. We are hopeful that this placement will lead to OSA-II usage throughout the Cummins distributorship network, both domestically and internationally."
William J. Maynard, President of Cummins Great Lakes, said, "We look forward to enthusiastically serving our customers with the OSA-II analyzer instrument. We feel this will enable us to serve our customers faster and better with more up-to-date oil analysis information, which is needed in today's operations and environment."
Top Source Technologies, Inc. develops, assembles, and markets sophisticated technologies including the patented MotorCheck(tm) On-Site Analyzer, "an oil analysis mini-lab in a box," and proprietary Overhead Sound Systems.

Forward-Looking Statements

The results anticipated by this forward-looking statement may not occur. Important factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from this forward-looking statement are unexpected manufacturing problems or technical difficulties with the OSA-II and decisions made by other Cummins distributors not to purchase or lease the OSA-II.
