NASHVILLE, Tenn.--April 13, 1999--Microphonics (OTC BB:MRPS) announces that it has entered into a contractual agreement with Day & Associates, Inc. to serve as the distributor for the trucking, truck rental and leasing industries.Ed Day, founder and president of Day & Associates, has over 30 years of experience in transportation and distribution. The major service of Day & Associates is to help reduce their overall distribution costs. "We are very excited about this opportunity. Microphonics ultrasonic diagnostic and preventive maintenance tool will soon be considered indispensable in transportation equipment, maintenance, most particularly in the areas of:

Microphonics has secured a two years exclusive contract covering the heavy duty industry with Day & Associates. Microphonics is guaranteed 3500 111RCK units over 24 months beginning June 1, 1999. The units are delivered and invoiced at the rate of 146 units per month. This contract brings Microphonics in excess of 5 million dollars in 24 months at the rate of over $211 thousand per month.
