ADP Dealer Services Connects Ford Retail Network in Oklahoma City

    HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.--April 12, 1999--The Dealer Services Group of ADP(R) Dealer Services today announced that it has been selected as the provider of information technologies and dealership business software for the new Ford Retail Network (FRN) in Oklahoma City, Okla.
    FRN is a Ford initiative designed to offer consumers the family of Ford brands in a more consistent, customer-focused environment. By consolidating select Ford dealerships in certain markets under the Auto Collection(TM) brand, Ford is working to improve vehicle distribution, marketing and the customer sales and service experience.
    The ADP solution will help Fred Jones Auto Collection in Oklahoma City better manage vehicle and parts inventories, increase service and parts sales, and improve overall efficiency and profitability. ADP will consolidate the existing computer systems of the 12 stores onto one Millennnia3 processor. By running the Elite dealer management system on one processor, the Oklahoma City stores will be able to share information over a high-speed, wide-area network.
