Arvin Announces Annual Meeting in Cyberspace; Leading Global Automotive Supplier Hosts Live Video Cybercast of Annual Meeting for Second Year
COLUMBUS, Ind.--April 12, 1999--Arvin Industries, Inc. , announced today the company's annual meeting in cyberspace, the ArvinAnnualCast.The meeting will be presented live in real-time over Broadcast.com on April 15th, 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., EDT, and can also be accessed by visiting the Arvin website at http://www.arvin.com or going directly to http://www.broadcast.com.
The first business in the state of Indiana to cybercast an annual meeting last April, Arvin has added a video/audio component to its presentation enabling participants to attend the annual meeting right from their desk tops.

ArvinAnnualCast attendees will view Arvin's annual meeting live and follow along in their cyberslides as V. William Hunt, President & Chief Executive Officer; and Richard A. Smith, Chief Financial Officer, review the company's accomplishments and future outlook. A tribute to retiring Chairman Byron O. Pond will also be presented.
To access the broadcast, viewers will need a realplayer (available for free at www.real.com), at least a 28.8 Kbps Internet connection, and Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. Technical support will also be available throughout the presentation.
