Budget Group Announces Pricing of $400 Million of Senior NotesDAYTONA BEACH, Fla., April 8 -- Budget Group, Inc. announced today the issuance of $400 million of Senior Notes due 2006. The notes were priced to yield 9.125%. The net proceeds will be used to repay outstanding indebtedness under maturing medium-term notes used to finance fleet and will not result in increased total indebtedness. Additionally, this is the first step in changing the mix of debt from secured to unsecured as the company moves toward achieving an investment grade rating.
